While I am not a major football fan, I am fairly immersed in the football culture; therefore, Super Bowl is like a national holiday in my household. The perks of watching Super Bowl includes lots of snacking, drinking, more eating and judging ridiculously-expensive commercials… oh right and the actual game itself.
After sitting through four hours of non-stop television, only a few commercial spots jump out at me, which means they did a very memorable job. Out of those few memorable ads, there are two that made the most impression with me: The Doritos® Gym Ninja and Megan Fox.
Now, between those two, the successful commercial is the Doritos® one since I actually do remember what it is selling. On the other hand, the Megan Fox one, while memorable, did not do its job. All I remember is Megan Fox in a bathtub with a cell phone. What does it really sell, I can’t remember. So that is a fail in my book. Read the rest of this entry »
Usually I find it funny when I see people getting knee in the groin on TV and in the movies, but after I saw this video, I am just speechless. This man is CRAZY! Sports Science did an experiment with the help of Rod Sacharnoski and American Gladiator Justice. This man Kirby has been kicked over a few thousand times over a period of five years. THOUSANDS!
So Apple just unveiled their much anticipated touch screen tablet – iPad. While everyone is wowing and oohing over the awesomeness that is iPad, I couldn’t stop thinking how terrible the name iPad is. Really? They couldn’t come up with something better than iPad that won’t make people think about feminine hygiene product?
I just love seeing all those fun and creative ways that people come up to make their weddings different than the norm. The latest sensation is this awesome wedding invite/save the date created for Jeff & Erin’s wedding. Plus, October 9 is like THE BEST DATE ever! Check it out!
The late night war between Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien is spreading faster than a California’s wild mountain fire. Many comedians and actors have all chimed in with their opinions but this clip between Jimmy Kimmel and Jay Leno is one of my favorite — totally funny and a complete slap in the face. Go Team CoCo!!
